My name is Bruno Homedes Dualde and I have a deep soul connection to music.
When I was 10 years old, I sat on a drum kit and knew how to play. At 13, my family moved from Barcelona to Portland, OR, where I started producing music and DJ’ing school dances. Soon after, I enrolled in the University of Oregon’s School of Music to earn my B.S. Degree in Music Technology, where I mastered music theory, composition, piano, world percussion, mixing, and sound design. The combination of this knowledge and my natural sense of rhythm has shaped me into the well-rounded musician I am today.
Growing up “between worlds”, I’ve always felt an internal battle of both connection and isolation from the two countries I call home. I have also been blessed to be exposed to a wide variety of sounds, which has allowed me to create albums in a diversity of genres.
Today, I realize that music is the universal language; capable of transcending cultures. That is why music has become, and will forever be, the language of my soul.
